We have recently refurbished the upstairs area of The Lazy Goose into an elegant and comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Whether you’re a part of a wedding party, on a country escape, or simply looking for a comfortable place for friends and family to stay, you’ll find everything you need at The Lazy Goose.
All our rooms are en-suite, include tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TVs, irons and ironing boards, toiletries and hairdryers – everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay.
As we are a boutique 7-bedroom B&B, we are self check-in and do not have a hotel reception, meaning you have the flexibility to arrive any time after 3pm at a time to suit you! Just look out for your email 2 days before arrival which gives you the access code and your room number.

What time is check-in / check-out?
You are welcome to check in anytime from 3pm, with the latest check-out time in the morning at 10am.
As we are a small boutique B&B, the rooms are self check-in and we will send an email with details of with the building access code and to let you know which room number you are in 2 days before your arrival (or straight away if you book less than 2 days before your arrival!)
If you arrive before your room is ready, be sure to check out our Coffee House whilst you wait, it is open until 4pm!
Do you have an onsite car park?
We have a large car park to the rear of the property and parking is free of charge for guests.
Is breakfast included?
Yes! Enjoy one of our freshly baked pastries or a deliciously filling Sourdough Toastie, with an artisan coffee, tea or soft drink in our popular Coffee House below.
Where can I have an evening meal?
As our Coffee House closes at 4pm, if you wanting food after this time we recommend our local pub ‘The Badger’ (just a 3 minute walk away!) where you will receive a special discount on your food!
